Winter is the ultimate whisky season. As the nights grow longer and the approach of frost leaves us reaching for hats and scarves, what better time to coorie in and embrace the spirit of the season? There are few bottles more fitting for this cosy time of the year than the nine cask strength offerings from The Scotch Malt Whisky Society’s Winter Series.

This collection includes a fantastic range of hand-picked single cask bottlings, with a selection of one-of-a-kind whiskies covering all the key winter milestones.

With every bottling offering a playful name and eye-grabbing illustration perfect for each occasion, this collection is an ideal opportunity to keep Society spirit at the heart of all festivities with a fun and fitting Christmas gift. Don’t worry if you missed out on our sell-out Hallowe’en and Bonfire night bottlings, Cask No. 6.66: The Devil’s call and Cask No. 59.74: For Fawkes’ sake, there are plenty other bottlings to choose from, each perfect for a special winter occasion.

But the Winter Series isn’t all about names, as always, the most impressive part of any SMWS release is the incredible and rare single cask, cask strength whisky, and this collection offers a great range of wintery drams. There is a diverse selection of cask types and flavour profiles, including Spanish oak oloroso, American oak Pedro Ximenez, Sweet, Fruity & Mellow, and an Oily & Coastal from Islay, making sure there’s something for everyone.
