It’s official – you’re all members of a record-breaking Society, with several hundred of you contributing to our official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for having the most participants in an online whisky tasting event.

You can read all about how we achieved the record in this issue of Unfiltered, and well done to all our members who took part from across the world – especially to those in time zones that meant you were doing the tasting at 7am or midnight! What a dedicated bunch you are…

The world record tasting also marked the reopening of our original Members’ Room at The Vaults in Leith, after undergoing a summer facelift. You can find out all about the changes in Duncan’s feature, and whether you live near or far I hope you can pay a visit before too long to experience the splendour of our spiritual home in all its upgraded glory.

We know Christmas is just around the corner, so Mads has already turned her attention to everything on offer from the Society, whoever it is you’re thinking about getting a gift for.
